Shi’Zen Publications Ltd is a small independent publishing house dedicated to the advancement of healing touch.

The mission of Shi’Zen Publications is to publish books that further the knowledge and love of healing touch.

The Shi’Zen symbol is an ancient symbol meaning balance – the balance of all things in nature.

As we face the kind of challenges outlined in Al Gore’s Nobel prize-winning film “An Inconvenient Truth”; so also we must address our internal ecology and balance. Is it too much to suggest that as our very modern and very western lifestyles have spread across the planet, so too has our pollution?

Is it also too much to suggest that our modern ways are so very ‘untouched’ and ‘untouching’ and out of balance with the Earth, when compared to more traditional societies?

Shi’Zen Publications addresses the growing need to understand how touch can help us to find a new ecology of the self as well as for the planet as a whole. We cannot turn back the clock, but we can all touch.

The journey towards respectful ecology of the planet begins at home – here in this body. Touch teaches us to respect the Body. One who respects the body can then respect the Earth and learn how to walk lightly upon the planet with respectful, carbon neutral footprints.
